In the end, I decided on a simple light with filters!
Also, Sebastian and Alice inspired me to add in dinosaurs and a horse.
Main setup (With labels):
The filters roughly emulates camera aperture, and you can see the shadows get sharper as the filter holes get smaller. However, the area and intensity of light also goes down.
I love the horse & dinosaurs! It looks both fun and classy. :)
